It’s been an honour bringing our zero waste cafe bar to life over the last few years, but it is now time to close this door so we can open others as we enter the life of parenthood!

Bar & Baby is not quite the right mix for us and after a very busy (and stressful) first 5 months of our baby boy’s life, we’ve made a difficult decision to close Kilo Ziro so we can concentrate on our son and our zero waste shop @thecleankilo – and perhaps I can have a taste of what maternity leave feels like!

We are proud of the achievements we have managed in this short space of time from Best Food Waste Prevention 2022, Sustainable Food Business 2023 and 2024 and Best Afternoon Tea Establishment 2023!

A huge thank you to every individual that has helped us on our journey and every customer that has walked through the door, helping support our waste reducing concept bar. We are proud to have saved tonnes of waste from going to landfill!

Thank you to all our eco-friendly brands and quality local suppliers who have delivered excellence into our little cafe bar!

And of course, a huge thank you to our hardworking team whom we will miss – although you may still spot a few familiar faces working at our shop!

This is goodbye for now… until the next chapter!
